Greetings from the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies!
We are now accepting applications for spring (January 2016) admission to our Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. The DNP degree program prepares master’s level nurses for the most advanced level of nursing practice. The DNP curriculum is now offered in a hybrid format over a year long, full-time plan of study that blends online components and practice immersion experiences with monthly weekends of face-to-face class interaction per semester. Students remain active members of the workforce, applying the knowledge and skills they acquire in the classroom to their practice environments.
- One year program (minimum 39 credits); 2 year part-time option available
- Dynamic learning environment
- Faculty members are experts in their fields
- DNP program is CCNE accredited
- Hybrid model with monthly weekends on campus each semester
- MSN degree from a regionally accredited university
- RNs with a non-nursing Master’s degree will be considered
- National certification in a nursing specialty
- Official undergraduate/graduate transcripts (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Statement of professional goals including your ideas about your area of interest for your DNP Capstone project
- Two letters of recommendation
- Active (unrestricted) RN License
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- The GRE is not required
The final deadline to complete the application and submit all required documents is October 1, 2015.
Baker College, a private, not-for-profit College in Michigan, has openings for students in the CCNE Accredited Pre-licensure BSN program. The program is available at the Cadillac, Flint and Owosso campuses for a September 28, 2015 start! All qualified students will be considered for admission, the deadline for the program is *INSERT DATE.

The SF State School of Nursing is currently accepting Spring 2016 applications for its new Accelerated Entry Level MSN (ELM-A) program. The ELM-A is a full-time 24 month program designed for individuals who possess a non-nursing bachelor’s degree and are seeking entry into the nursing profession. This program is open to prospective students from California as well as other U.S. residents. Graduates of the program will earn a BSN along with the MSN degree. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2015.
