The Entry-Level Master's Programs are listed as designations
on the Graduate Application Now
If you already e-submitted, paid, and applied to an
entry-level master's program prior to 9/1/2011, while the designations were
still listed on the undergraduate application there is no need to be concerned.
Your application will still be reviewed by your designated program(s). You do not
need to change your profile information.
However, if you created your NursingCAS account between 8/15/2011 and 9/2/2011 or if you are a re-applicant and you have not yet e-submited
your application then you will need to change your profile information if you
want to apply to an Entry-Level Master's program at the following
universities:
- Rush University
- University of San Diego
- University of Toledo
- University of Tennessee Health Science Center
- University of Vermont
- Western University of Health Sciences
When you created your NursingCAS account, if you selected
"No" to the question "Are you applying to a graduate level
program in nursing?" you will need to change your answer to
"Yes" in order to access the Entry-Level Master's designations for
the schools listed above.
Please login to your NursingCAS application here: https://portal.nursingcas.org/.
Once you have logged in, please visit the "My
Profile" section of your application: https://portal.nursingcas.org/?rm=account_profile. Scroll down to
the last section, titled "Additional Information" and change your
answer selection to "Yes" for the question "Are you applying to
a graduate level program in nursing?" and hit "Submit".
You will then be prompted to enter in your password and security question and
answer. Please hit "Submit" again and all of your application
information will be carried over to the Graduate Application and you will be
able to make the appropriate designation selections.
Please note that when you change your profile information
you will only be able to apply to graduate degree programs (including the Entry-Level Master's designations). NursingCAS does not allow one application to apply to
both Undergraduate and Graduate programs, it must be one or the other.
